Chevening Scholarships 2024-25 is an opportunity offered by the Government of the United Kingdom in partnership with UK universities. Students who require financial help to pursue a 1-year degree in any field at any UK University are invited to apply. The scholars will be granted a fully-funded scholarship to cover a 1-year course fee, along with other benefits.

Chevening Scholarships 2024-25: Eligibility Norms
As part of the eligibility norms for this scholarship program, the candidate must:
- Be a permanent resident of a Chevening-eligible country, including India
- Have secured an undergraduate degree at the time of submitting his/her application, for getting admission in a postgraduate course at a UK University (Note: this educational qualification is at par with an upper second-class 2:1 honours degree in the UK although it can vary based on course and university)
- Have minimum 2 years of work experience (this is equal to 2800 hours)
- Return to India for at least 2 years after course completion
Note: Candidates with refugee status in a Chevening-eligible country are eligible to apply for this scholarship scheme.
Chevening Scholarships 2024-25: Rewards
After selection, the candidates will receive the given benefits under the Chevening Scholarship:
- A fully-funded scholarship to cover the 1-year UK University course fees
- Travel-related expenses to and from the United Kingdom
- An arrival allowance
- A homeward departure allowance
- The fee for one visa application
- Invitation to attend the various Chevening events held in the UK
Chevening Scholarships 2024-25: Documents to Submit
Applicants are required to submit these documents:
- National ID Card or a Valid Passport Copy
- Copies of university certificates and transcripts (including UG and PG courses)
- Three choices of UK Master-level courses
- References from two referees who know the candidate in an academic or professional capacity
- English language test score

- First, browse the guidelines mentioned on the Chevening Scholarships 2023-24 official portal
- Search for the “Apply Today” tab and click on the same
- On the subsequent page, go to the “Register Here” link and tap on it
- The system is then directed to the Registration page
- Complete the registration process, at which point the system will generate your login credentials
- Sign in to your account with your login details
- Provide all the information as required in the application form and submit the necessary documents
- Finally, submit your application online
