Dr. Ambedkar Medhavi Chatravriti Yojana for SC Students Himachal Pradesh (HP) 2023 has been launched by the Government of Himachal Pradesh. The eligibility criteria for this scholarship scheme are listed herein:
- The candidate has to be a permanent resident of India’s Himachal Pradesh state
- He/she has to belong to the Scheduled Castes (SC) category in the HP state
- The applicant is required to have secured qualifying marks in the Class 10 exam
- Students who are admitted in Class 11 or a professional / technical course in a government-recognized institute after Class 10 can apply

The top-ranking 1250 meritorious students hailing from the SC category (as mentioned in the matric result exam merit list that is released by the HP Board of School Education Dharamshala) will be selected. They will be granted INR 12000 per year for two successive years to cover their higher education fees.

The various steps in the application process are detailed below:
- Visit the National Scholarship Portal as your first step
- Here, search for the “Applicant Corner” tab and tap the “New Registration” link
- On the subsequent page, the application instructions are given, which you should read thoroughly
- Also, tick the checkboxes and then tap the “Continue” tab
- Provide some basic details including mobile number, captcha code, and OTP; submit this information
- Subsequently, the registration page appears on the screen and you have to fill in the mandatory details in the form before tapping the “Save & Register” Link
- Following the registration process, you will receive your login details
- Now, go to the “Fresh Application” tab and tap on it to be directed to the login page
- Next, sign in to your account with your login credentials
- The Online Application Form then comes up on the screen
- Fill in the compulsory fields in the form and follow by uploading the relevant documents
- As your last steps, review your application to check for any errors, after which you should submit your application.
