Nirman Shramik Kalyan Yojana Scholarship for SC / OBC / ST / SEBC / GENERAL / EBC Communities 2022-23 Odisha

The Nirman Shramik Kalyan Yojana Scholarship for Scheduled Tribes (ST) / Scheduled Castes (SC) / Other Backward Classes (OBCs) / Socially and Economically Backward Classes (SEBC) / General / Economically Backward Class (EBC) Communities 2022-23, Odisha, is an initiative of the Labour & ESI Department working under the Government of Odisha. Students belonging to the ST / General / SEBC / OBC / SC / EBC categories are invited to apply for this scholarship scheme. The eligible students will be entitled to a scholarship grant of up to INR 40000 per year.

The eligibility criteria for the Nirman Shramik Kalyan Yojana Scholarship are seen below:

The applicant is required to be a permanent resident of the Indian state of Odisha
He / she must belong to the SEBC / OBC / EBC / General / SC / ST category
The candidate should have scored at least 60% marks in the previous qualifying exam

Nirman Shramik Kalyan Yojana Scholarship Odisha 2022-23: Benefits

The shortlisted applicants will be granted the below-listed benefits:

Educational Assistance after completing 1 year: Benefits per year

For Girl Children from Class 6 and 7: INR 2000
For all children in Class 8: INR 2000
For all children in Class 9: INR 3000
For all children in Class 10: INR 4000
Cash grant to all children who secure 90% or more in Class 10: INR 10000
For all children in Classes 11 and 12: INR 5000
For BA, BSc, BCom, and PG courses: INR 7000
For BTech / MTech / MBA / BCA / BArch / March / BPharma / MSc / Hotel Management along with Catering services / Medical programs (including Homeopathy, Allopathy, and Ayurvedic) in Government colleges: INR 40000
For BEd / CT / Nurse Training in Government Colleges: INR 10000

Nirman Shramik Kalyan Yojana Scholarship Odisha 2022-23: Mandatory Documents

The list of documents to be submitted to apply includes:

Copy of Student’s Aadhaar Card
Income Certificate Copies of the Candidate’s parents
Copy of Student’s Residence Certificate
Passbook copy of student’s bank account, including the bank account number and IFSC Code of Bank Branch
1 passport-sized photo of the student
Copy of Student’s College ID Card
Copy of Student’s Scorecard of the qualifying exam

Application Procedure

First, go to the Nirman Shramik Kalyan website of the State Scholarship Portal, https://scholarship.odisha.gov.in/website/home
On the home page, navigate to the “Registration” tab seen on the top and tap on the same
Complete the online registration process, at which point the system will generate your login credentials
Go on to log in to your account with your login details including your Aadhaar Card number / Unique Number and Password
After signing in, the User Dashboard appears on the screen and you have to click on the corresponding “Apply” tab of the scholarship program
Proceed by filling out the fields in the application form
It is also mandatory to upload the compulsory documents in the required format
Always review your application before online submission
Keeping a print copy of your application for future reference is advisable
