The State Merit Scholarship for UG Girl Students Haryana 2023-24 has been introduced by the Directorate of Higher Education of Haryana. Female students enrolled in General Degree courses are eligible to apply for this scholarship scheme. As part of this scholarship program, eligible girl students will receive yearly financial help to complete higher education. A scholarship amount of INR 3000 per annum will be given to the shortlisted girl applicants.

State Merit Scholarship for UG Girl Students Haryana 2023-24: How can you apply?
The application process for the State Merit Scholarship for UG Girl Students Haryana 2023-24 is seen below:
- First, browse the home page of the Centralized Scholarship Portal of the Department of Higher Education Haryana
- Search for the “Student” tab and tap the “Student Registration” tab from the sub-menu
- On the new page, you have to enter your Parivar Pehchaan Patra (Family ID) for the system to show the corresponding list of family members on the screen
- Go on to select the Applicant’s name and click the “Generate OTP” option
- Enter the OTP that you receive on your mobile number and then click the “Verify OTP” link
- The system will then display the auto-filled Registration Form and you are required to check all details
- Select the “Department” and “College”, generate your password, and then select the “Register” link
- Subsequently, click the “Login” tab on the portal home page for the login page to appear on the screen
- Provide your login credentials for signing in to your account
- Go to the Online Application Form to fill in the given fields
- Upload the compulsory list of documents
- Cross-check all information in your application before submitting the same online
- Always take a print copy of your application for record purposes
